Are you ready to pull off the biggest casino heist in history? The target is Las Vegas Boulevard – home to 3 of the most secure vaults ever built. Clear the board of chips by creating groups that equal 11. The odds are stacked against you, but the loot is yours if you can crack all 3 vaults in time.
This game is one of the most simple in the entire app store, and the premise is this. You are some sort of mastermind thief, and it is your job to steal money from three giant safes. For some strange reason, these safes are covered in numbered chips from one to ten, and your objective is to pair or group them in groups totaling eleven. Your own chips can also be used to form groups. Flip to the next chip when no “11” is possible. Use the wild chip as needed.
This sounds easy at first, but soon after beginning, it gets difficult to find the correct chip. When you are unable to find a matching chip, you have to dip into your reservoir of chips (bottom left hand side) or use your Wild chip, which you get one of per game.
When you run out of matches, you hit the Take Score button, which will end the game and submit the score to your leaderboard.
Graphically, this game is very polished and smooth. The chips have a nice flipping motion, which adds a little flair to the otherwise simple game. The menu is very slick, with three orb-like buttons entitled New Game, Help and Options, and Leaderboard. While playing the game, there is a “help” button on the top left and a “quit game” button on the top right. On the bottom is the timer, which looks nice and fits in with everything else.
The sounds in this game are pretty good, yet the one music track becomes annoying very quickly. The tapping sounds add a little polish to the game making it worth its price tag.
Overall, this game is fun and reminds me of a matching game mixed with math class. On the other hand, it is extremely simple (maybe too simple) and can become repetitive quickly.
