iPad comes to 9 more countries

By all appearances, Apple decided to make it a tradition to expand a sale market for their extremely popular iPad every two months. So, first iPad became available in USA, two months later, on May 28, it came to a series of countries, such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and Great Britain.

And now, two months later, Apple again extends the frontiers. This time lucky countries are as follows:

  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Hong Kong
  • Ireland
  • Luxembourg
  • Mexico
  • Netherlands
  • New Zealand
  • Singapore

Customers will be able to buy both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G modifications of the device in all Apple retail stores. Prices for iPad in these countries haven’t been yet announced.

Apple are not going to be satisfied with this result and promise to extend the list of countries to 89 before the end of the year. Such gradual introduction is caused not with Apple’s unwillingness to tap more markets, it’s more like a desperate measure as there is a problem with a limited productive capacities. The demand is so great that factories have no time to make so many iPads.

We hope this situation will be successfully solved in the future.
