One of the first apps for the iPad which appeared in App Store is an office suite of desktop applications iWork created by Apple itself and well-known by many Mac users. Though, in contrast to the Mac version where all three apps – Pages, Numbers and Keynote are in a single package, we will have to purchase them separately for the iPad.
Pages
Pages is both an excellent text editor and simple page layout program. In fact, this is Microsoft Word analog as viewed by Mac developers.

Numbers
Numbers is a table editor, MS Exel analog on the Mac.

Keynote
Keynote is used to create and play presentations. It contains a multiple set of effects and changeovers, hastens and simplifies creation of effective presentations by means of templates.
