Do you usually browse for files on your hard drive with lots of images, music or videos and when you open it, it takes longer to load up the program that associated with it? then you’ll need IrfanView.
IrfanView is a very fast, small, compact and innovative FREEWARE (for non-commercial use) graphic viewer for Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003 , 2008, Vista, Windows 7.
It is designed to be simple for beginners and powerful for professionals.
IrfanView seeks to create unique, new and interesting features, unlike some other graphic viewers, whose whole “creativity” is based on feature cloning, stealing of ideas and whole dialogs from ACDSee and/or IrfanView! (for example: XnView has been stealing/cloning features and whole dialogs from IrfanView, for 10+ years).
IrfanView was the first Windows graphic viewer WORLDWIDE with Multiple (animated) GIF support.
One of the first graphic viewers WORLDWIDE with Multipage TIF support.
The first graphic viewer WORLDWIDE with Multiple ICO support.
IrfanView supports, .mp3, .avi, .jpg, .bmp, .gif, .png, and many other formats, it also supports viewing your PSD files instantly without opening Adobe Photoshop.
Slideshow and Thumbnails viewing comes handy when browsing folders in explorer, it comes also with plugins for other task you want to embed in it.
[…] are going to use a 3rd party tool called IrfanView, which we already covered on our previous post. We haven’t tried other tool to do this job, but […]
For the giveaways suggestions: you are definitely right about gaining more hits by doing giveaways, but what I want is real subscribers (what I mean is, like you, who subscribes for they like the real contents of the site not the giveaways)
I will try your giveaway suggestions thanks.
and for popularity gain, honestly I dont want to compete with any site, just want to share what I have and what I can. (share your talent :D)
frankly, I asked some reputable site’s for help on johnsphones.com awhile back, so that I can continue to share some good stuff here, and guess what they didn’t even reply to say something that they cannot help (I think they are afraid of competition) LOL! but that’s not what I think. still I find a way to continue this site and luckily a good person helped me and support me to continue what I do, Now I am trying to make new steps on this site so that I can gain/earn from it if possible.
and for the FastStone Capture: Yes. That is my fav capturing tool since then. it’s lite to your system even if it sits under your system tray the whole time.
I am happy that you always drop some suggestions/comments here bro, I appreciated it a lot, for that, a good conversation can make us improve by listening or exchange ideas, and gaining more knowledge for us to share more 🙂
Thank u very much bro. Hope you will continue to support.
